How it’s calculated
Sod area = lawn area × (1 + waste%). Rolls ≈ area ÷ 10 sq ft; pallets ≈ area ÷ 450 sq ft.
Example calculation
A 40 × 25 ft lawn with 5% waste needs about 1,050 sq ft of sod — roughly 3 pallets.
