NumberPilot's calculators are educational tools that produce estimates. This page explains, plainly, what that does and does not mean.
Estimates, not advice
Everything on NumberPilot is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing here is financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal, or professional advice, and nothing should be relied on as a recommendation to take or avoid any particular action.
We are not your adviser, and using this site creates no professional or fiduciary relationship. For a decision that affects your money, your health, or your legal position, consult a qualified professional who can consider your full circumstances.
Why results are approximate
Each calculator uses standard, published formulas, and we work to keep them correct. Even so, a result is only as accurate as its inputs and assumptions, and real-world figures differ for reasons a calculator cannot know:
- fees, closing costs, and charges specific to a provider or product;
- the exact compounding, rounding, and day-count conventions your bank or lender applies;
- tax rules, brackets, and local regulations that change by place and over time;
- rate changes on variable-rate products after you calculate.
Use these tools to understand the shape of a decision and to compare options. Use your bank, lender, accountant, or adviser for the figure you actually commit to.
No warranty
NumberPilot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any result is accurate, complete, or current, or that the site will be available without interruption. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site. Your use of it is at your own risk.
